RNA Scientist - Filled
Over the past 10 years as RNA has stolen the thunder from its genetic compatriots, DNA and protein. It has been called "X" (Science), "Y" (Nature), and "the cure for the common cold" (Don Draper).
Our RNA Scientist will be primarily involved in biological synthesis of nucleic acids and collecting NMR data using high field (600, 700 and 900MHz) NMR instruments. You will be working closely with senior scientists on one or more therapeutic-focused programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in NMR resonance assignments, NMR-based dynamics studies of biomolecules, and biochemical assay development. A candidate with strong molecular biology skills but limited NMR experience will be considered. The position requires a M.S. or B.S. degree with 2+ years laboratory experience.
Computer Scientist - Filled
We are: above
You are: A code expert with a specialty in GPU programing who is looking for something bigger.
You'll be working closely with our scientists. They will handle the physical science while you turn their ideas into elegant reality, harnessing tens of thousands of CUDA cores to solve problems that were until recently too difficult to address. Projects you might be working on include: optimizing code to discover new molecules to cure disease, using our proprietary data to solve atomic forcefields that are currently only guessed at, and similar projects we can't discuss here.
Applicants should have an extensive background in C/C++ programming in a heterogeneous computation environment (CPU+GPU; CUDA/OpenCL/OpenMP/MPI) preferably in life science applications, such as computational docking and/or molecular dynamics simulations. The initial project is to convert CPU-based software to utilize GPUs, which will involve re-writing code to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize GPU performance while maintaining desired accuracy.
